Pest control for common crops on our site.
We held a Social Tea And Knowledge Exchange (STAKE) session on Sunday the 24th March. Kevin and other experienced allotmenteers shared their experience of dealing with the most common pests that cause problems on Folly Lane Allotments. As always at these sessions all attendees also chipped in with their ideas and questions.
Slugs was the hot topic closely followed by Wood Pigeons but we also covered 12 other common pests/problems.
